Help EIC help you!  DONATE TO THE ESCROW INSITITUE ESCROW ADVOCACY FUND.

Your contribution to the Escrow Institute Escrow Advocacy Fund will enable us to promote the licensed escrow profession at the state and national levels.

The Escrow Institute of California (EIC) was formed to provide escrow professionals licensed under the Escrow Law with a voice. EIC has always served as your advocate before State Legislature and our Regulator insuring that the rights and interests of California Licensed Escrow Companies and their customers are protected. EIC has also monitored the actions of our Federal Government and the impact their actions have on our industry. With the creation of the CFPB, EIC has become much more involved and is actively advocating on the National level as well.

These are some of the many issues on which EIC has advocated for you.

STATE: Major impact on your net worth and liquidity requirements as an unintended consequence of the new international accounting standards.

STATE: Watchdog to keep state regulatory fees reasonable and sustainable.

STATE/FEDERAL: Keep lenders and other extra-regulatory parties from “vetting” you and your staff and otherwise acting as defacto, unofficial regulators and all of the extra overhead that comes with that “vetting”.

FEDERAL: Watchdog actions and proposed regulations by the CFPB affecting the real estate community, especially California Licensed Escrow Companies
